The Blasters are the ultimate all American Roots band fronted by the brothers Dave and Phil Alvin. Their music is a blend of rockabilly, early rock and roll, punk rock, mountain music, rhythm and blues and country. American Music was their debut studio album. It was released in 1980 and features the future classic "Marie Marie".
